The Engagement HOW THE BENCH WORKS

Every commission runs the same way the studio's own works do: drawn out before it is built, built in weekly turns you can inspect, and shipped to the stores tuned and ticking. You see the work at every stage — there is no long silence between the sketch and the delivery.

Commissions are taken worldwide, in plain written English, through the correspondence desk. Bring a napkin sketch or a full specification; the bench has taken both.

From the Bench II WORKED EXAMPLES
I

RCSentinel — an instrument for rally racers

A backup GPS logger built for the realities of offroad rally: every fix written to disk the moment it is captured, so a crash or dead battery cannot take the stage log with it. Designed, machined, and shipped on both iOS and Android — the studio's newest work and its most specialized.

II

NagMon — a watchkeeper for sysadmins

A Nagios monitoring client that puts live host and service status in an administrator's pocket, with push alerts the moment something changes state. Built lean — the shipping app is 1.9 MB — secure over HTTPS, and entirely free of ads and tracking.

Questions, Answered Plainly V QUESTIONS
What does NexusWorks build?

Custom mobile applications for iOS and Android — native Swift and Kotlin/Java, cross-platform React Native and Flutter — plus the backend and API work behind them.

How does a commission proceed?

In three stages. The sketch: we sit with your notion and draw it out — screens, mechanisms, what it must do and refuse to do. The machining: design and build in weekly turns of the crank, and you inspect the work at every turn. The shipping: to the App Store and Play Store, tuned and ticking.

What do you offer besides development?

UI/UX design, app strategy consulting, and ongoing maintenance and support — bug fixes, OS updates, security patches, and feature enhancements.

Has NexusWorks shipped real apps?

Yes — six works of the studio's own are on the App Store, spanning navigation, fitness, and monitoring. Inspect them on The Works; every one is built with the same process a commission receives.

How do I commission a work?

Write to the workshop through the correspondence form with what you're building, what it must do, and where it should run. We reply to every serious inquiry, usually within a working day or two.
